Conference will take place in both the RNCM and MMU Geoffrey Manton buildings, which are located side by side, separated by a street called "Rosamond Street West". Welcome address and both concerts (on Thursday and Saturday nights) will take place in the RNCM concert hall; the opening reception and all lectures will take place in MMU Geoffrey Manton building. Purpose built in 1996, the Geoffrey Manton building offers a wide range of lecture theatres and syndicate rooms set around a stunning atrium. The building is located just next to the RNCM (across "Rosamond Street West"). There are a range of lecture theatres with a capacity of 95 and 135 people and all rooms have an overhead projector and screen. The light and airy atrium is perfect popular choice for conferences requiring a large, open space. All conference meals (breakfast, lunches, tea/coffees) will be served in the Geoffrey Manton building. |
